I serve on several industry, college, and university advisory committees in North Dakota. I truly believe there are many unique pathways to a successful and fulfilling career. This can be accomplished through the trades, technical schools, apprenticeships, or two- and four-year colleges and universities, plus many more! I have job shadowed and mentored many students to help them find their passion for careers and vocations.Â

I have served as a civilian cybersecurity analyst on several teams with the North Dakota Army National Guard and North Dakota Air National Guard attending competitions and trainings such as CyberShield.Â

I am also the former director of North Dakota Cyber Madness. This event is the state middle and high school cybersecurity tournaments!

I am a founding member of Bismarck State College CyberCon, a combined Critical Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Conference. Professionals from around the state and nation attend this event. We regularly have 400 plus participants.Â
